✨ Prompt Tips

A great prompt is the difference between bland output and something you'd post on Instagram. The pattern is: subject → action → setting → style → camera/lighting. Give the model enough to work with.

❌ Vague
an alien
No setting, no style, no detail. The model has to guess everything.
✓ Specific
a tall grey alien with large dark eyes, standing in a neon-lit Tokyo alley at night, rain reflections, 35mm film grain, cinematic
Subject (alien) + traits (tall, grey, dark eyes) + setting (Tokyo alley) + mood (neon, rain) + style (35mm cinematic).
❌ Generic
cool spaceship
"Cool" is empty calories. What does cool mean? What kind of ship? Where?
✓ Vivid
a massive triangular UFO hovering low over an empty desert highway at twilight, green underside scanning beams, warm sunset clouds
Specific shape (triangular), location (desert highway), time of day (twilight), action (scanning beams), atmosphere.

More Tips

  • Use camera language for cinematic shots. "low angle shot," "wide pull-back," "extreme close-up," "shallow depth of field" — the model recognizes these terms.
  • Reference real photographers, films, or artists. "shot on 35mm Kodak," "Roger Deakins lighting," "Wes Anderson symmetry" — these unlock specific looks.
  • Pick a time of day. "golden hour," "blue hour," "moonlit," "harsh noon sun" — lighting changes everything.
  • For video, describe motion explicitly. "slow camera push-in," "smooth dolly left," "subject walks toward camera" — otherwise you may get static-looking clips.
  • Stack 2–3 styles, not 10. Too many style tags fight each other. Pick a primary aesthetic and one or two reinforcements.
  • Use the Story Studio for complex prompts. Build them from 6 ingredients (setting, characters, action, camera, style, mood) — the page does the assembly for you.
  • For Alien Me, your photo matters. Front-facing, well-lit, single subject, no sunglasses. Side profiles and group photos confuse the model.
  • For music, the description is the prompt. Genre, instruments, tempo, mood, era — all of these help. "country song about a small town with a slide guitar" beats "song about a town."

❓ Frequently Asked

How do credits work?

Every generation costs credits. Different models cost different amounts — see the Models table above. Free accounts get a small monthly allowance plus daily phrase rewards. Paid plans get a larger monthly credit pool that resets on the 1st of each month.

You can also buy top-up packs — those credits never expire.

What's the difference between subscription credits and top-up credits?

Subscription credits reset on the 1st of every month — use them or lose them.

Top-up credits are one-time purchases that never expire. Great for occasional bursts of activity without committing to a plan.

The system uses subscription credits first (so they don't go to waste), then dips into top-ups.

Why are my generations watermarked?

Free-tier outputs from Alien Me carry a small watermark. Any paid plan removes it.

Regular image and video generations don't have watermarks regardless of plan — only Alien Me transforms.

Can I delete something I made?

Yes. From My Gallery click 🗑 Delete on any card — it moves to Trash. You have 30 days to restore it before it's permanently gone.

To delete forever immediately, open the Trash sub-tab in My Gallery and click "Delete Forever" on the item.

How do I share a creation publicly?

From My Gallery, hover any card and click 🌍 Public — that flips it from private to community-visible. Public creations show up on the Shared Content feed where anyone can see and remix them.

The 🔗 Share button copies a direct link (alieninvasion.ai/share/<id>) you can paste anywhere.

Why do videos take so long?

Video generation is computationally heavy. Seedance models typically take 1–3 minutes; Grok can take up to 8 minutes for premium-quality clips.

You can leave the page open and come back — the progress bar keeps polling. The result also lands in My Gallery automatically when ready.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. Go to Account → Plan & Billing and click Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access to your current plan until the end of your billing period; after that you revert to Free.

Your credits and creations stay safe — they don't disappear when you cancel.

What models are best for "alien" content specifically?

For images: Nano Banana 2 handles alien aesthetics well by default. For face-preserving alien transformations of yourself, use Alien Me directly — it's tuned for it.

For prompt inspiration, browse Shared Content with the "Alien Mode" filter.

Where does my data go?

Generated files are stored on Cloudflare R2 (private buckets). Your account info lives in Supabase. Payment data is held by Stripe / PayPal — we never store card numbers.

Delete your account anytime from Account → Danger Zone; everything goes with it.

Something's broken — who do I tell?

Email support@alieninvasion.ai with the issue + a screenshot if you can. Include the URL of the page and roughly when it happened.
